Ardbeg Uigeadail is an exceptional non-age statement Islay whisky, showcasing a harmonious blend of peat, sherry, and smoky notes. The palate reveals rich flavors of dark fruits, oak, saltiness, and a unique combination of barbecued meat, honeyed ham, maple bacon, and cinnamon. Offering complexity and depth, this whisky presents a perfect balance of sweet and savory elements, making it a great value for its price. Despite some changes over the years, it remains a top choice for those seeking a bold and flavorful dram.

On the Spectrum on the meaty Savory side of things rather than Band-Aid and iodine. Campfire Smokey log for me. Lean towards that savory meat burnt meat smoked meat kind of profile. I can see myself paying $100 for this and I understand value for me is going to be different than you.

The raisin note come through straight away. You can really pick up the sherry influence. It's a great buy for 150, especially given that it's no age statement but the cask strength and the incredible flavor profile.
Gwhisky
Big peat, big sherry, married together. Value's pretty good here, you're getting a cask strength peat and sherry blast with an Ardbeg twist and I don't think you're paying too much for it.

A lot of smoke in this whisky, very fruity sweet cherry, but also a bit of tobacco and spiciness.

Those tangy bright sharp savory notes is the first thing that I get in this. It's great

Ardbeg Uigeadail: Still an ISLAY ICON?
I don't think it's where it used to be. It's still a great distillery and it's still better than most but it's not quite the same these days.

Ardbeg Uigeadail | Whisky Review
I do love it and strangely enough, I would have imagined that tasting whiskies at 8 a.m. might be harder, but it's not that bad.
